About Me

I am a Ph.D student in Rice University, ECE department. I came to Rice in Aug. 2016, and joint the Efficient Computing Group at the end of 2016. Currently my research area is Operating System, and my interest lies in resource accounting in mobile systems.

I got my bachelor’s and master’s degree (2012, 2015) in Beijing Normal University, China. In my master’s years, my research topics were DDoS and botnet. In 2015, I started to work in iQIYI.com as a Java engineer in the SNS group. I was responsible for the SNS application system of iQIYI. In the fall of 2016, I came to Rice and started to pursue my Ph.D degree.

My current research project is to optimize the resource accounting schemes in mobile systems. I have evaluated the efficiency and fairness of current accounting schemes, and proposed the vulnerabilities that can be exploited by attackers. Our goal is to design accounting schemes that can achieve both fairness and better performance.
